So, I'm snowed in! I came down to KC last night to go to a student teaching interview at English Landing (which was rescheduled for tomorrow) and now I'm stuck here! I have ended up missing my last day of college classes. Well, one of them was canceled and the other was just a meeting that I rescheduled, but still, I'm done with college classes! There are no classes tomorrow (Friday) because our amazing Bearcat football team is in the National Championship game in Alabama. Classes were canceled so we could all go to the game if we wanted. I am perfectly content with watching it on TV in the 'Ville! So, I'm done - all I have left is my student teaching and then I'm a college graduate. How scary is that? I'm not sure if I'm ready for all of this, but here it comes anyway!

Other than that, I'm just sitting around here, excited for a nice relaxing day. I'll watch some TV and movies and just have some "me" time. Because classes are over I don't even have homework to be doing - awesome! Well, that's all I've got right now, just wanted to say hello and let everyone know what I've been up to. I love you all!

Only one week left - exactly 5 days of classes and 2 days of finals. I am SUPER excited!! I think I am most excited about starting a new chapter in my life. I know I will technically still be getting up every morning and going to school, but at least now I'll be the one teaching. I've been going to classes for the last 17 years of my life - I'm ready for something different!!

1. I absolutely hated my younger brother until 4 years ago when I went away to college. We just COULD NOT get along when we lived together. Now he is one of my best friends.

2. My favorite food is steak. I don't care who cooks it - but I am especially fond of how my boyfriend, Adam, makes it!

3. I played varsity golf all 4 years of high school. My freshman year, I was the only one with any kind of golf experience, so I played #1. I was up against some of the best SENIOR golfers in the state and I made a complete fool out of myself!

4. I only hate one person in the entire world! I am not usually a mean person and I normally love everyone, but this one person really gets on my nerves.

5. Baseball is my favorite sport and I watch as much as I can. My dad and I bond by traveling around and visiting different ballparks across the country.

WOW - it's been a long time since I've posted. My life has been pretty busy lately - getting ready to get out of the 'Ville! My last semester has been crazy. I guess I should get used to the work - a full-time job will be a lot of work too! I am spending most of my free time trying to get in as much "college" time as possible. Hanging out in the middle of the day will soon be gone - I'm soaking it all up!

I am also missing Adam a lot! I thought that my last semester would fly by and in no time we'd be back together. Although the school part is flying, the time without Adam is dragging. I can't wait until I can see him every day and get a nice, big hug whenever I want. It will be so amazing.

Well, that's about it. I'm just getting by and counting down the days until I'm out of here!

So, I'm sitting here at work - trying to get some stuff done (which obviously isn't going all that well!) I've been trying hard to keep my camp high, but it isn't working...I just get to thinking about everything that is going on in my life, the things I feel like I'm missing out on, the hurt that I feel every time I can't meet someone's expectations, just stuff...This year has been the hardest to keep that high going - I don't know why, but I can't help but feel a little cheated. Oh well, I guess it's more of an attitude thing anyway, and I could find that high in God whenever I felt like it! I guess that's what I'm going to do - start looking at life as "half full" and hope that the positive attitude floats through the rest of it all.
